The Cartier boutique in Haikou is designed as an interior transposition of the various landscapes and natural outdoor spaces that define the tropical island of Hainan, unique in China.
Spanning three levels, it offers visitors a variety of spaces, moods, and atmospheres to explore, akin to a day of strolling on the island, from its tropical marine depths to the peaks of its mountains covered in lush vegetation.
Welcoming visitors, the grand and organic facade, widely open to the mall's forum, provides clear visibility into the interior spaces.
Alternating between textured, undulating glass surfaces and glossy ceramic tiles, it plays with changing reflections, evoking the shimmering of waves in the sunlight.
